Note: The meeting will be held virtually with members of the Barnstable County Economic Development Council participating remotely, pursuant to Chapter 20 of the Acts of 2021, as further amended by Chapter 2 of the Acts of 2023.

AGENDA 

1. Roll Call/Attendance 
2. Review and Approval of Prior Meeting Minutes: 9/11/2024  
3. Fiscal Year 2025 Barnstable County License Plate Grants: Cape Cod Commission staff will provide an update on the Fiscal Year 2025 Barnstable County License Plate Grant program.  
4. Regional Broadband Needs Assessment: Cape Cod Commission staff will provide an overview of the Regional Broadband Needs Assessment, including key findings and recommendations to improve access to reliable broadband and address digital equity challenges on Cape Cod.  
5. Cape Cod Bridges Update: Cape Cod Commission staff will provide an update on efforts to secure funding for the Cape Cod Canal Bridges Program and upcoming public engagement opportunities.  
6. OneCape Summit: Cape Cod Commission staff will provide a recap of the 2024 OneCape Summit, including sessions about local economic development initiatives and other topics relevant to implementation of the 2024 Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS). 
7. Regional Policy Plan Update: Cape Cod Commission staff will provide an overview of the process to update the 2018 Regional Policy Plan for Cape Cod.  
8. 2024 Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy Implementation: Council members will discuss strategies and opportunities for tracking and facilitating implementation of the 2024 CEDS Action Plan.  
9. Member Reports: Council members will report on recent economic development activities on Cape Cod. 
10. New Business:  Topics not reasonably anticipated by the Chair more than 48 hours before the meeting.
