- Federal Fiscal Years (“FFY”) (October 1 – September 30) 2025-2029 Transportation Improvement Program (“TIP”) Development TIP Amendment #4: Staff review, and Committee members will consider public comments on and may vote to endorse, 2025-2029 TIP Amendment # 4, which would remove $8,284,827 in regional target funding from the Mashpee Route 151 Improvements (Phase 2) project to reflect the current construction bid price, remove the Harwich Safe Routes to School project from FFY 2025, and adjust the funding allocated to Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority budget items in FFY 2025 for facilities, vehicles, and maintenance.
- FFY 2026-2030 Massachusetts Department of Transportation (“MassDOT”) Capital Investment Plan (“CIP”): MassDOT staff will provide an update on the development of the MassDOT 2026-2030 CIP which includes all capital expenditures planned for the next five years for MassDOT’s Aeronautics, Highway, Rail and Transit, Registry of Motor Vehicles and Planning & Enterprise Services Divisions.
- FFY 2026-2030 Transportation Improvement Program (“TIP”) Development:Staff will provide an update on the development of the 2026-2030 TIP, which summarizes the regionally significant transportation infrastructure projects receiving federal funding for construction over the next five years. Committee members may ask questions and vote to release the draft 2026-2030 TIP for a 14-day public comment period.
- FFY 2026 Unified Planning Work Program (“UPWP”) Development: Staffwill provide an update on the development of the 2026 UPWP, which summarizes all significant transportation activities planned for the fiscal year on Cape Cod. Committee members may ask questions and vote to release the draft 2026 UPWP for a 14-day public comment period.
- Cape Cod Top 50 Crash Locations Report and Cape Cod Crash Dashboard: Staff will present the 2025 Cape Cod Top 50 Crash Location Report, a list of the top crash locations across Barnstable County, and the updated online crash dashboard.
- Cape Cod Vision Zero Safety Action Plan: Staff will provide an update on the development of the Vision Zero Safety Action Plan, a comprehensive safety action plan to reduce and eliminate serious-injury and fatal motor vehicle crashes affecting all roadway users on Cape Cod.
- Reports: MassDOT staff will discuss the status of the Transportation Improvement Program projects. Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority and Cape Cod Commission staff will report on recent and upcoming transportation initiatives across Cape Cod.
- New Business: Topics not reasonably anticipated by the Chair more than 48 hours before the meeting.
