American Rescue Plan Act informational webinar now available to view online
Through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), the U.S. Economic Development Agency (EDA) was allocated $3 billion in supplemental funding to assist communities recovering from the economic impacts of COVID-19 and help build resilience to future economic disruptions.
The funding is made available via six innovative challenges. The Cape Cod Commission hosted a webinar to inform potential applicants about these programs.
EDA’s six innovative challenges are:
- Build Back Better Regional Challenge
- Good Jobs Challenge
- Economic Adjustment Assistance
- Indigenous Communities
- Travel, Tourism and Outdoor Recreation
- Statewide Planning, Research and Networks
During the webinar, Commission staff provided program summaries and answered questions about program details. Participants had the opportunity to share project ideas with Commission staff and other attendees, creating opportunities for collaborative partnerships in the region.
