Cape Cod Commission promotes two staff members
We are pleased to announce that Steven Tupper has been promoted to the position of Deputy Director. Steven has been with the Cape Cod Commission for more than a decade, joining the staff in 2011 as a Technical Services Planner. He was promoted in 2015 to Transportation Planner, and again in 2018 to Transportation Program Manager. In his decade of service to the Commission, Steven has overseen a multi-disciplinary team working to promote a safe, reliable, and multi-modal transportation system for Cape Cod. A registered professional engineer, Steven has provided technical assistance to Cape Cod municipalities looking to tackle regional and local transportation challenges in a way that is compatible with community character. In his new role, he will lead the agency’s infrastructure and built environment initiatives. Steven holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering with a minor in Economics and a Master of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering with a focus on Transportation, both from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
Colleen Medeiros has been promoted to the position of Transportation Program Manager. Colleen began work at the Cape Cod Commission in 2018 as a Transportation Engineer. She is a registered professional engineer with more than 15 years of experience in transportation engineering and project management, including capacity analyses, safety reviews, multi-modal transportation design solutions, and conceptual mitigation design and permitting. Colleen holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
