  5. Cape Cod Canal Bridges Program: Staff will provide an update on the status of the Cape Cod Canal Bridges Program, a program that will include the eventual replacement of the Bourne and Sagamore bridges, as well as improvements to the approach roadway networks.
  6. Beyond Mobility: Massachusetts Department of Transportation staff will provide a summary of the Massachusetts’ 2050 Statewide Long Range Transportation Plan, Beyond Mobility, a strategic plan that documents the most pressing transportation issues for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to address both now and in the future.
  7. Federal Fiscal Year (October 1, 2024– September 30, 2025) 2025 Unified Planning Work Program (“UPWP”) Development: Staff will review the draft 2025 UPWP which summarizes all significant transportation activities planned for the year on Cape Cod. Committee members may vote to release the draft 2025 UPWP for a 21-day public comment period.
  8. Federal Fiscal Years (October 1 September 30) 2024-2028 Transportation Improvement Program (“TIP”) Amendment # 2: Staffwill review, and Committee members will consider public comments on and may vote to endorse, the 2024-2028 TIP draft Amendment 2, which would remove the Barnstable Park and Ride Expansion and Improvements at Route 132 project and its associated funding from the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP).
  9. Federal Fiscal Years (October 1 September 30) 2024-2028 Transportation Improvement Program (“TIP”) Development Amendment # 3: Staff will describe the 2024-2028 TIP draft Amendment # 3, which would increase the funding to match updated cost estimates for the Mashpee Route 151 Improvements (Phase 2) project and the Yarmouth-Barnstable Cape Cod Rail Trail Extension (Phase 3) project. Committee members may vote to release the 2024-2028 TIP draft Amendment # 3 for a 21-day public comment period.
  10. Federal Fiscal Years (October 1 September 30) 2025-2029 Transportation Improvement Program (“TIP”) Development: Staff will review the draft 2025-2029 TIP, which summarizes the regionally significant transportation infrastructure projects receiving federal funding for construction over the next five years. Committee members may vote to release the draft 2025-2029 TIP for a 21-day public comment period.
  11. Safe Streets for All Cape Cod Safety Action Plan: Staff will provide an update on the Safe Streets for All Cape Cod Safety Action Plan grant and the development of the Vision Zero advisory committee, a committee which will oversee the development of a comprehensive safety action plan to reduce and eliminate serious-injury and fatal motor vehicle crashes affecting all roadway users.
  12. Reports: Massachusetts Department of Transportation staff will discuss the status of the Transportation Improvement Program projects. Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority and Cape Cod Commission staff will report on recent and upcoming transportation initiatives across Cape Cod.
  13. New Business: Topics not reasonably anticipated by the Chair more than 48 hours before the meeting.
